Interesting.
Bracing and routing around valve cluster makes me think it's a helicon.

Unless someone swapped out the bell bow brace for a bell brace (which I doubt) it was originally a helicon. The rest is interchangeable.
American sailboats, airplanes, banjos, guitars and flutes ...
Italian motorcycles and cars ...
