HA! :)

I would add to the list, no-name Chinese mouthpieces. Not sure why, but those are really kind of gross to me.

The search string for my followed search: "tuba -sheet -mouth -mouthpiece -baritone -piano -etudes -duets -harness -score"

That eliminates the very most annoying listings, which are not for tubas at all but nevertheless are often listed in the tubas category.

After that, the online big box dealers that list every tuba they could possibly obtain or get drop-shipped to you is extremely irritating. There has been less of that lately, but not that long ago it made the category nearly useless.

(And speaking of "re-re-re-re-re-listed instruments priced too high", did whoever-it-was finally sell that $300 Conn Eb they offered for years for $1800 without changing a thing about the listing? Haven't seen it in a while.)

So true. I have seen that other Conn Eb for $700 quite a bit too.
That Conn helicon with the shot valves has also been at $1200 plus $300 shipping for forever.

Americans can easily arrange not to see Indian two-bell sousas and Chinese instruments that are still in China by checking the "US Only" or "North America" radio button under "item location". No doubt people in other countries have some similar tool.

I wish eBay had a filter to filter out only Indian made sousaphones to make searching for real sousaphones easier. I hate scrolling though page after page of the same indiaphone while trying to find horns that can actually play.

the most annoying thing to me is that those Chinese instruments from china are typically 3 valve king 1140 clones that they market as "professional"
