Unbelievable price. Good thing the owner doesn't know what they have in their possession. That bell alone could go for $800. I just purchased an upright bell alone for $700+. Now seeing this and knowing I could have gotten a bell AND a horn for cheaper.. Someone is going to get a great deal.

That's a steal of a price, and with an upright bell and cases. Art Hovey did an EXCELLENT conversion of a 20j a while back. A really beautiful job, IMHO.

You got a hell of a deal! Long road trip from Naples though. :D For that price I thought about heading for the Land 'O Cheese.

Conn 2 mouthpiece, too. These horns were shipped from the factory with a Conn 2 and one tuning bit. I just recently started using my Conn 2 on mine and it works very well. Since it's pretty small it helps the horn not sound so woofy and huge, but at the same time you can still tell it's a 6/4 tuba sound.. Just with an ever so slight brightness of tone. Works very well. I'm still jealous!

Well, the guy decided he wasn't interested in shipping after a couple days of thinking, and ended up selling it locally. So I guess the search continues.
