In the second picture (taken from behind) you can make out the four valve buttons.

The valve tubing arrangement is right for a 24/25J.
Conn 20-21 J
Conn 10J, Conn 26 K, Martin Mammoth, Mirafone 186, Soviet Helicon, Holton Raincatcher Sousaphone, Yamaha 103, King 1240.

That's well and good but the description is wrong...and 'raided' was meant in jest.
What precisely is "all wrong" in the description, that they used the arbitrary x/4 nomenclature incorrectly?

"Raided" - it most likely was a trade-in when a school upgraded, a pretty common practice.
