Nice price on an old Conn in Houston

Post by daktx2 »

It has 4 valves, and includes what looks like an original recording bell and a silver, non original upright recording bell. A nice deal for 800 bucks!

Is it a 36J?

I'm freaking out right now. That is so awesome.
Somebody will be getting the deal of the century on an absurdly rare horn.
I want it.

Sold. Just asked the seller if I could come test play it and he said it was sold locally this morning.

Not to mention it came with a Conn 1. Everybody knows about the Conn 3 ( euphonium) and Conn 2 funnel tuba mouthpiece. The Conn 1 was the giant deep funnel version of the Conn 2. Very rare mouthpiece. Very rare horn.
