Neat horn! Is that "curly cue" in the tuning slide standard issue or is it a case of putting extra tubing on a CC tuba to make it a BBb?

Looks more like a High Pitch to Low Pitch conversion (1/2 step)
Instead of talking to your plants, if you yelled at them would they still grow, but only to be troubled and insecure?

What else would account for looking like that? it's too bad they couldn't find a match that worked out with more of a radius. I would call it the bell flare, though, not the "top half" of the bell. If you imagine the bell 'replacement' removed, it looks like the tuba would need more length in the bell section to flare out into what might've been its original bell. Is it possible that the tuning slide is curled to compensate for this removed length in the bell section?

Is it worth asking the seller if there is a joint on the inside of the bell?
Or for a picture of it (the inside of the bell, even if there is no joint)
I hesitate to speculate on this Cerveny based on previous Cerveny experience, but can comment on said experience if anyone wants me to...
My favorite detail is the 4th valve is out of sync with the other 3, as can be seen if you follow the wrap. Yet the slide locations are consistent.
