The serial number is in the 2nd photo... is that your old tuba? Did you sell it to someone in Hawaii?
It might be fake, or it might just be a lousy eBay ad. Both seem plausible...

Lousy eBay ad is more than plausible, it's a fact. $10K, and all he has to say is "mint condition"?

From the first photo, it looks like most of the plating is worn off of the first valve paddle.
