Skookum looking horn but seller is confused about place of manufacturer. Says it was made in 1969 in East Germany and the "f" was changed to "ph" when Germany was unified. Ah, no....

Would like a few more pictures but looks good. That would be an ace horn for somebody looking for a BBb on the small side of things.

The case (I know those cases) was made in Australia (nope: NOT Austria), and is high-grade, but not particularly padded. It appears to be in good enough condition to be able to be "brought back" via some good cleaning and a small amount of adhesives.

More like a small 4/4 if it's 39'' tall yes? I played one in Junior High School and loved it.

Although it might be tall, the bore is rather small and the bows are narrow. I had a 184 CC this summer and it was about the same size as my medium-sized Alex F tuba (but obviously containing more 'guts' to put it in CC)

I've had one for 30 years (a CC) - Mirafone sells it as a 3/4. It has a .705 bore, I think - not small, but not as big as the .770 bore of their 4/4 horn.

The CC version is pretty rare as a 3/4...does it play just as big as the 4/4? I know mine did..(then again, maybe it was just the player) :tuba:
