Wow, that's in terrific shape, at least that's the external evidence to my eye. The seller sounds like someone who would be able to fairly reliably tell you whether it's A=440Hz or something else.

I was about to trade a 3 valve BBb for this one but the bell photos didn't seem right. Asked the right question and it turns out the green coloring isn't the only damage from the wall hanging. There are holes drilled in the bell and bow and looks to be poorly patched to cover. I'd rather spend a few bucks more for one that won't need patch work.

I have what seems to be the top valve version of this horn. It plays very well with a nice light tone. I had to trim the main slide to bring it up to pitch though. Nice little horn.

The ad has been deleted, anyone buy it or did the seller just pull it?
