Cerveny 793 Cheap. :(

Did anyone else here miss this clean looking Cerveny CBB-793? I'm guessing as close to a BBb Piggy as one might find.
End of month busy-ness with clients let it slide by me. I hope that someone here picked up on this bargain.

That was a crazy steal. Unless I'm mistaken, that model is actually similar to an American style 6/4 in size and shape. Just under 20 inch bell and pretty fat.

I was actually keeping an eye on this one and had my wife on board and everything. But then I got drunk, overslept, and by the time it dawned on me to check...gone. Sooo pissed about missing this one. Great score, IMO.

Plays like a beast! Nice rich, deep sound. Dosen't take any more air than the 20J does. Ebay pictures didn't do it justice. Nice Altieri bag and floor stand. I definitely traded up from the 861

Photos man! We need photos! I would like to see one with you (or another tuba at least) to see the size of it. It looks very "squat" from the ebay photos.
