There's is a huge range of interesting stuff for sale from this eBay seller, some interesting mouthpieces, replacement tuba bells, slides etc. Well worth looking at!

I'm not associated with the seller - just letting people know it's there

Will I name that item here or even in a private message ?
No way.
Can't hide from the "sold listings" on eBay though, Joe.

Someone got a rotor and the tubing for a Hirsbrunner HB50. I didn't bid on it because of the unknown condition, but that was a pretty neat thing to see.

Good to know, thanks. It's supposed to be delivered today, so I'll install it this evening or tomorrow.

I didn't know that there were two different sized 5th valves on the HB-50 - what are they?
Is the one you got a top-loader?

As you say. And secure, not fragile feeling like the original.
I'm very pleased with it.
Some solder cleanup to do, but it's on and looks like it belongs there.

You mean the really old fat ones that were a partial circle? They are great.
