I don't know the seller nor have I played it, but recently I had this same model tuba fixed up to 'playing' condition. Even while it's in worse condition than this one (dents, wear in valves, etc.), it has a great sound, especially in the mid and upper register, and responds more like a baritone than a tuba. And don't let the size of it or the small bore fool you; this thing can really honk if you push it a little. There are some intonation quirks, but they're very manageable, especially for the rich tone color of the horn.
