Interesting valve loops to trace.

And it seems the stand it is on is listed seperately.

Must be rare, offset middle piston!!!
I expected to see more of a French layout.
Looks very heavy for a helicon.
I guess one adjusts padding to get the MP in playing position

Never seen a Besson Helicon before. It looks authentic and not just a cut sousaphone. Wonder how it plays. With the valve tubing layout I bet it gives more room for the user and it would be interesting to see if the offset piston is a help in actual use. I do love when a seller says how all the dents can be rolled out so easily in an afternoon with the tag line "But it shines up great if you want to polish it up; and most of the body dents will roll out in an afternoon- if that's what you want..."

It's so easy -but he can't be bothered to do it - even though it would likely sell for more & much quicker.

Looks to me like it would lend itself to a CC cut better than most.
Not that I'm encouraging that sort of behavior.
It just has some really interesting wraps going on.
