Short-Action Conn Euph

Post by Dan Schultz »

The seller probably doesn't know but this is a 'short-action' euphonium. These are usually pretty good players and somewhat unique.

That leadpipe is broken off right? And they just shoved the mouthpiece into the end?

Yup. Not a bad fix though. Allied part C-82738-6 (mouthpipe) and A-151 (receiver) can be purchased from a dealer for between $60 and $90 depending on his mark-up. The oval port is a transition just before the valve section so even a common euph mouthpipe would probably work.
