This is the Willson-made Marzan 'solo' model. A good bit smaller than the more popular tubas built by Bohm & Meinl.

I have tried a few of these before -- they are not very large, but still a decent size and play pretty well. Probably similar to a Conn 3J, in that "small 4/4" size category.

- Marzan engraved on bell
- four pistons
- made in both CC and BBb
- No serial numbers on the examples I've seen
- 17" bell
- .638" bore
- .919" piston diameter
- 'Swiss Made' stamped on receiver

FYI, I contacted the seller, and this tuba has been sold. Accordingly, the seller has deleted his Craigslist FS post, which Hal kindly shared as the original post above.
