Seeing as Ya Maha only offers a few models, the 822, 621, 861 (rare rotary horn) and the 826 (highly doubt it, and he mentioned downsizing,I would say this is the 822. If a 621, there is no downsizing. Probably a steal of a price if an 822

I'm pretty sure this is a fake posting. An identical ad is posted on several different regional craigslists.

Denver: https://denver.craigslist.org/msg/d/cc- ... 60232.html
Dallas: https://dallas.craigslist.org/dal/msg/d ... 59510.html
Houston: https://houston.craigslist.org/msg/d/cc ... 59961.html

Not a fake ad. Picked it up today. It is an older 822s without the Yamaha stamp on the bell.

I would contact Mike Forbes (he has the YFB though) he has a very early one (possibly 1 digit serial number) I would imagine it would be around the same age.

I missed this earlier... What was the price?

For anyone who wanted this and missed it, there is a nice looking 822 at Brass Ark for under $6k... Which seems like a pretty good price to me.
