The serial number on the bell certainly seems to be from the "F" era... and the Millennium engraving certainly looks more recent.

Another oddity... didn't the millennium start on Jan 1, 2001? So does this commemorate the outgoing millennium?

PS -- none of this really matters, should be an outstanding tuba either way!
