probably not. the short leadpipe height is unusual.

That was a lot of horn for the money. Did anyone check out the 186 he had with the Martin bell? Was a cool looking old horn.

"Red rot" is what we call zinc dissipation. It does get more red as all that is left is the sponge of copper. It is not to be confused with the brown patina which is actually desireable on a horn that has lost its lacquer, and provides a barrier to further corrosion.
