There seem to be a lot of people who think a French horn is a tuba, although I've never seen a tuba called a French horn. I see this often on ebay, and not just with display/replica items like these. There are a lot of people selling stuff who have no idea what they are selling. That con work to a buyer's advantage at times, especially if they use "buy-it-now." You'd think with something like this they'd at least make some sort of effort.

You have to watch close to take advantage of a "Buy It Now" from a seller who doesn't know what something is worth.

I'll always regret missing, by just an hour, a York 4-valve front action EEb tuba (that seemed to be in reasonably good shape - just a lot of tarnish) that sold on Buy it Now for $300.

Yep, I bought it. The valves had been re-done and were in excellent condition, and the receiver had been replaced with a King standard size receiver rather than the original small receiver. Other than a small bell crease and a non-original botton valve cap it was in great shape.
