Nickel plated, confirming the obvious. Looks fatter than the Cerveny 641, usual Russian big bell/small flare, though neither trait is as extreme as bigtubby's Ukrainian whopper.

Thought that I'd replied this afternoon but don't see it. I said something along the lines of:
From my 1960s/1970s experience in the automobile industry, Russian manufacturing seems to have been the cutting edge of the Soviet Blok. e.g. Ladas received new technology sooner than the satellite countries such as Yugoslavia (Yugos).

This instrument is quite similar to the Ukrainian example that I have mainly excepting the bell. My guess is that Kiev received tooling updates well after the retooling at Leningrad. Just a (n educated) guess.
