"Solid Intonation" ain't the way I heard it. :)

A tuba being sold by a sports memoribilia seller? Is the tuba signed with a certificate of authenticity?

Maybe it has "The Curse of The Floyd"...

"Famous tubas"

I imagine the seller mistakenly assumed there is a market for tubas formerly owned by well-known professionals. There may be something to that, but I imagine most people who are in the market for an F tuba are less concerned about the pedigree of the horn, and more concerned about getting the most horn for the money.

I am surprised, though, that the bidding didn't go at least a LITTLE higher.

Is that rose brass with nickel silver trim? Really interesting looking horn.
