I admit I don't know much about companies, brands, etc. from Europe, but this looks very Cerveny-ish to me.

I believe Amati is one of many importer stamps for Cerveny, but I am often wrong. I'll happily accept validation or refutation.

Yeah, Amati = Cerveny. And that is an older model (1980s?) as the current Amati-branded tubas are usually 'student' models of smaller size and 3 valves.

But $800 is a heckofva good price for a probably decent 4/4 4rv CC in good condition. :tuba:

Amati has owned Cerveny since Amati's formation after WW-II. Not always but usually Amati and Lignatone stencils are identical to the Cerveny 4xx trim level (brass slide legs instead of NS).

This would be a CCB-481 and usually the older ones like this (oval paddles) are excellent horns.

A real bargain!
