It's a terrific price, if you know the valves are in good shape, etc. It's a decent price for a "pig in a poke." If I needed a sousaphone, this would be of great interest to me, but the really big sousaphones aren't as universal in their appeal as their lap tuba relatives, many players like a brighter sound.
