$999 Plus $158 shipping. Doesn't seem like an awful price.

Could be more or less a CEB 641 - 18.2mm bore, 400mm bell, 930mm height. Nice, but ... $158 to ship from Bulgaria? I suppose they do it all the time.

What service would one use, DHL? That does seem like a low price.

I did a quick swag on shipping a tuba sized package usps from Minneapolis to Florida. It came up to $133. I wonder why the price is about the same shipping from overseas?
I did find a guide to USPS international shipping online. https://www.stamps.com/whitepapers/comp ... ipping.pdf" target="_blank It said,"Private carriers like FedEx® and UPS®
handle package delivery from the sender in the U.S. all the way to the recipient in the destination country. The U.S. Postal Service® (USPS) handles package delivery up to customs at the destination country, at which point, the host postal service of the destination country handles package delivery to the recipient." It also said that there are no surcharges for international shipping, like with FedEx or UPS, so that might impact the price also.
I learn something new every day : )
