I'd say it was worth its current bid price (AUD 1.00).

It's an Indian outfit that produces really awful cornets and trumpets (no larger brass AFAIK). Next-to-nonfunctional valves, badly-fitting everything. Suitable for decoration only.

I did recently see a "baritone" with this company name for sale on ebay, but that is the largest brass instrument I've seen by this outfit. It is an obvious attempt to try to confuse people into thinking that it is a "Besson," even down to having the name "Boosey" on the instrument and engraving London on them even though they are made in India.

There are some "real" Besson instruments made in India just to add to the confusion. I tried one Indian Besson trumpet at the NAMM show that was really fantastic, better than any of the hand made custom horns I tried there.

Yeah, but this isn't labeled "Besson", but rather "Bessons" and carries a London address engraved on the bell. Clearly a feeble attempt at playing off ( ) the Besson name.

Maybe that's why the description says: "Would look lovely in any collection."
