Assuming the "Model 1200" is actually SN 1200 on the bell, this makes this (best guess, here) a mid- to late-1958 or maybe early 1959 186-4U CC. The 1st slide is much longer than my 1971 CC, but (of course) not as long as on my 1971 BBb. I guess one of the tweaks was to allow the player to push in more since pulling out that far was unneeded with the very long 4th slide. It has the old brass/brass slide tubes, the top bow is a different shape and taper, too. I would love to play this horn, just for fun. Has some UGLY repair work, too. I wish he had posted a price. I have a friend up there who could find out, but she is really busy, so I would not ask her unless I was a serious buyer, which I am not. Oh, well. I still want to play on it some... ;-)
