Detroit CL: Viking Eb project

Gotta hand it to the poster. "The valves move freely." Hard to imagine a freer valve section.

Interesting, at the very least, to me, as the ferrules are similar to some in a thread in a tubenet forum regarding a couple o' sousaphones. Will put the pictures there momentarily...

My minimal experience with the make leads me to believe it has some potential at least.

Somehow, to my eye, the bell taper looks like a Buescher....

I was going to say the same thing. The bugles taper (top bow especially) looks ‘buescher’ to me.
