A little bit of time with some dent balls, and I'm sure this horn would be a great player.

It would be interesting to get some before/afters on that - I always wonder, how much dents matter. Seems like a very reasonable price, anyway.

You would have to watch to not spend too much on repairs. The total price can add up pretty quick.

If this plays OK, it could be a good "keep at home to practice" instrument just as is. In two or three years, you probably could turn it over for more than you paid for it.

Gee, it's worth $650 for just the valve set. If that were near me, I'd snap it right up.

It's an Olds 99 in disguise. :tuba: Good price for a 4 valve even with the dents.

My thoughts exactly...
Jordan
King 2341 with a Holton "Monster" Eb bell
Eb Frankentuba in progress
Martin Medium Eb Helicon

Used to own, but still a fun thread: Lyon & Healy Eb

Not just the valve block, but with all the tubing and crooks, all in place and ready to use (aka "valve nest", or "valve set").

Not actively looking at present, but always interested, should a new project materialize.

Now, a "vertically oriented, front-action 4 valve .748/19mm block", that's an entirely different matter.....
