If'n it were an Eb, i'd have mentioned it on the relevant WTB year old posting, as Syracuse is within long driving range of PA. But alas it is BBb. One of 'em with the main tuning slide up wards in the leadpipe.

Same seller who is offering George, so mayhap you can get introduced while fetching it?
Thanks for playing!

To me it looks the same as the one from Kiev, Ukraine.

Indeed it does. I guess that makes it a little less unknown.

The one with the mark is a Leningrad/Saint Pete Model 102. My understanding is that the unmarked ones are the Ukrainian version of the same instrument. They are great players but the sold one went for about 5X what I've been buying them for.

There is a marked Eb Radioaperateur (Kiev) on ebay right now:

I watched the video the seller posted in his ad and the valve angle looks very uncomfortable to me.

Mouthpiece to mouth fit is a bit of a gamble, too. I guess you could bend the leadpipe around to fit, in some cases. That's more or less universal to European helicon makes. I think the valve wrist angle is more commonly real a problem with full circle Eb designs - didn't bother me much, but I know it's awful for some. Cerveny designed some of their largest BBb models with the valves rolled around 90°, which seems to make a lot more room - don't know why that wasn't more common, especially with the Eb where it's really needed.
