I debated listing it given that Pagosa Springs is pretty remote, but it's within a day's drive of larger towns in UT, CO, AZ, NM and TX, so I thought some folks might be interested.

Possibly the finest BBb tuba I've ever played was an old 1980s B&S PT-1. Buttery/even sound & response, good intonation -- nothing 'wild' that I remember. That was many years ago, but I remember how great that tuba was :tuba: Played another PT-1 (1990s model) years later, and it was good but not great like that first 1980s model. So those tubas don't all play exactly the same. Kind of a largish 4/4 rotary BBb -- nearly as large as a M-W 25 BBb.

If this guy is 'legit' and the tuba is in overall good playing/cosmetic condition, then this is a great deal. But I'd still be cautious :!:
