I've been watching these. All too expensive for my taste considering the condition except maybe the first one. That 4 valve one was originally priced at 11 grand! I messaged the seller to see if they might reconsider that price point, but they didn't lower til it went unsold twice. The horn looks nice but the valves are pretty rough.

The top one, however looks to be in good mechanical shape, too bad for that "GaTech" being crudely scratched into the bell though.

It's big and heavy, that means it's expensive. :) The 1st time they listed the 4 valve they had 16 grand on it  Guessing they will have it for awhile.

I decided to add the 4V Martin to my stable yesterday. I’ll let you all know how she plays when I get her and clean her up. I felt it was a good value at $3K with shipping and now sales tax and will have the valves worked on in good time. I’m excited about a factory original 4V Martin. I have a 3V of the same era and love it. I also have a modified Mammoth with a King 2341 valve section and original upright bell. There’s nothing like it! Lol

Congrats! Was wondering where that listing went. Definitely going to be a great horn (and I'm definitely a little jealous :) ).
Also, I see there's a real purdy Martin medium sousa that just got listed recently in silver with the gold wash bell that looks like its in amazing shape, for anyone interested.

This one is tempting too! I do already have a 3V mammoth that’s restored (my profile pic) so I should behave.

Many thanks for the note.

I had noticed it wasn't listed, and this appeared roughly at the same price:
