This fellow definitely has a mojo going. With the voodoo angle you can buy this and put it in the Principal Tuba's gig bag. Audition competition can be spell bound. Beezlebub probably the ownly solo that will work. Dies Irae could take on a whole new meaning.

Yeah... I was about to post this one, too! I think the chap is full of bull! There's enough tubing on that horn for it to be a BBb. The views don't seem to match, but there's one of the front view that shows a 3rd valve circuit that is too long for an Eb horn. Maybe he's added some parts!

Hey- give this person some credit for being creative; after looking at that horn it will take something really original to sell it, cursed or not!

(and anybody even trying to get this sucker to play after the kind of treatment it has obviously recieved IS cursed... or a legend in their own mind... )

He actually says that the photo you pointed out is what it looked like when he got it before his repairs.
The last picture of the horn shows the horn when I bought it.
Still, perhaps the large poorly done patch on the bell or badly formed replacement leadpipe might have something to do with the intonation?

Y'know, that "leadpipe" looks like nothing more than plain ol' 5/8" soft copper tubing...

Well, at least it won't get red rot...

That whole write up is crap. I saw this horn for sale on eBay several months ago. It looked like his last photo, the one he said was of it when he bought it. My guess is he is the fool that bought and is just trying to recoupe his original investment.
