Boston CL Conn with cases

Too lazy to look up what model # it would be, but best i can tell, it is 3X series. They don't look like short action, but there is a 4th valve. And top action. Or is that top stack? That term always makes me think of smoke and so i think bell...

Was able to zoom in on the pics and see that they are definitely short action valves...24J.

Just for historical value if anything else as the sticker on the case says Albert Knecht. Knecht was a clarinet player in John Philip Sousa's Band and kept an extensive diary of the band's trip around the world. This included stops in Australia, New Zealand and Tasmania. His diary entries can be found in Paul Bierley's excellent "The Incredible Band of John Philip Sousa". After leaving the band, he and another player had a music store in Philadelphia.
