Proportions looks off and that bell engraving is strange: "REBUILT"

How can anything get that dented? Not even the worst of the middle school vandals could have accomplished that. The seller is hoping to get $3,999? Give me a break.

Agreed. It doesn't quite look right for a Jumbo.
All the Jumbos that I've seen have had the extra guard wires around the outer bows. This thing just looks like a beat up 38K.

And what the heck is that "Rebuilt" business?
That's a new one.

That is a Frankenstein horn! Looks like it consists of a King Giant bell and Conn 38K body parts. The brace on the shoulder branch is older than the braces connecting the valve section to the body. With that asking price, it will be a permanent fixture on eBay.

In the Common Core curriculum, the prerequisite is 3 years of Climate Change Studies (4th - 6th grade), but - if they've made it halfway through the third year - the students are allowed to take the 1-semester course on denting.

Yea I did the same and it’s probably a special 38K with a 28” bell. I saw a Conn 20K with a 28” bell
