A little excitement there for a few seconds - my old 190 BBb is presumed to still be in the area, and I was half expecting to see it here, but mine was much newer, probably early '80s. The story I've read here before is that the old BBb 190s, like that era, fell a little short of the 187 etc. in terms of intonation and such niceties. I personally wasn't troubled by any of that, so much, it was just more tuba than I was up for at the time. The guy who I suppose still has it seemed to be doing well with it.
