FWIW, I've always perceived that the mouthpipe/valve layout (unusually long/unusually low) on those old Holtons look somewhat "out of proportion" and ergonomically awkward, as though you'd have to own exceptionally long arms to reach the (sousaphone-style angled) pistons.....
