Man I'd like to get my paws on that Holton sousa and try it out
It looks like a larger size sousa, like the Conn 20k, Yamaha 411, vintage King Giant, etc. The valve bore at .750" and bell collar being over 7 inches in diameter confirm this.
I believe Tuba Tinker has/had one of these and has stated that it compares favorably to the Conn 20k
The ad states that the pistons & casings were rebuilt by Anderson, and have great compression. If this sousa plays/sounds as good as it looks + the deluxe hard case, then $2200 is a great deal

$2200 is a great deal. These are really hard to find. It was a toss up when I bought Schultz's Raincatcher between it and the short action souse he had for sale. Wish I could have got them both.
Someone ought to snap this up.
