My favorite tuba is the Miraphone 188. I owned a gold brass model but sold it and have regretted it ever since. I'm searching for a new 188 and am coming up with a variety of prices. This vendor has what seems to be a pretty fair price. (I have no connection whatsoever with them, and I hope I am allowed to post their ad on this board.)

Any opinions, comments, etc. about their price? Anyone know of a lower price? Advice, please.

Re: Miraphone 188
+1 for Dillon Music, although Horn Guys is a GREAT store, too.
I can empathize... The gold brass 188 that I owned was outstanding, and I've chased my tail ever since I sold it. Good idea to get another!

I purchased a tuba from the Horn Guys on a previous occasion. They were all dynamite to deal with. Great price and customer service.
Dillon is a great option as well, for obvious reasons.
