Yeah, and this B&S 101 'Sonora' needs a good $500 - $1000 worth of work done on it to make it good. That tuba is beat to $hit I would not pay more than $500 in it's current condition.

It even says "Made in German Democratic Republic"

This tuba came from the South Bronx... Actually doesn't look as bad as I might have expected. Needs a lot of work, yes, but it's not destroyed.

You mean sold and distributed from NYC right? But made in E. Germany...

One of the photos has a sticker on the tuba that says NYC Board of Ed, South Bronx HS (or something like that... I didn't load it again)

But i am pretty close, and am dreaming of a road trip in the near future, so while i am definitely not looking to complicate my life any more than it already is, seeing it safely to a fellow tubenetter is not impossible...
