Get the BBC mods done to it and it'll play even better!

Remind me what those are. Leadpipe change?
shortening of all inner slides, reassembly of the crooks, lifted leadpipe

The real BBC edition that they made briefly had a larger diameter bell as well.

Plus a few secrets that Fedderly doesn't make public.
Probably 15 years ago I came REALLY close to buying a brand new BBC edition 2145. It was one hell of a great tuba!

Good condition, good horn, great price. This one shouldn't last long.

Has already been around forever. A different (excellent) 2145 lasted on the board here for a very very long time. I think it finally sold under $5k.

I like these a lot. The MTS is kinda short ... But otherwise a solid tuba.

I highly recommend not buying this tuba. It was mine and was an incredible horn. That being said I got into an accident and it got crushed. It was repaired and is not a solid playing horn anymore sadly or I would have bought it back.
