In San Diego. I wonder if a big beauty like this suits the players in Mexican banda bands (or whatever those gigging bands are in southern California.)

Weird. I'm no King Jumbo expert (where's Kiltie?) but the proportions don't look very Jumbo to me.
28" is a big bell, though.
Maybe it's a Giant?

I think for the most part the preference is smaller sousaphones like Conn 14ks & smaller.
Mostly because of the use of higher notes & overblowing style & Gigs of 3-5 hours standing.
