OMG! Now I know Joe has been spending just a little too much time in the shop. Maybe he works too near the chem vat? And, Joe, please don't drink any more of that Blue Juice. OK? We all love you here on the board, and don't want to lose you.

Oh, wait a minute--------I now see that Joe was the high bidder on the TERD. Whoever made the thing is in Georgia. Now who in Georgia would make such a device? Hmmmm

The T.E.R.D.

He He He!

Genius indeed!! Reminds me of some school issued mouthpieces!

It looks like he used a Herco BBb model.

For his next version, the screw at the end, for the air flow
adjustment, could be improved with a knurled knob or T-Bar handle.
So you don't have to carry a screw driver with you
to adjust the TERD.

Silly and Cool

What good is a "side-mounted manually-operated port" if it won't handle a full-sized steak?

To bad he didn't make it off a trumpet mouthpiece - he'd sell a million!

Looking at the feedback, this individual seems to have moved to Georgia in early May, after selling items from all over the Northeast during April. So, who do we know who was in the NE in April, moved to Georgia around the 1st of May, has his own propane torch and too much time on his hands?

I'm thinking... Bill "TubaDork" Pritchard???

Anyone know Bayne Dobbins? Calling Bayne Dobbins.

Well, now, that is interesting. A quick web search reveals that Mr. Dobbins plays horn in "Tara Winds", in which band you can also find:
Lee Stofer!

So maybe Lee has too much time on his hands these days? I'm still thinking Bill P, though.
