Apparently six or seven of the nine instruments in the serial number list were stolen.

Quick update, the University of South Carolina and the Clemson University alumni band have stepped up to donate sousaphones for Lexington HS to use to finish out the marching season.
Here's to hoping we can track these down.
Thanks!

I'm definitely not accusing anybody of anything but I came across this on eBay from a seller in Virginia.

It'd probably be worth asking about the serial number.

Re: **Stolen** Silver Conn 20K Sousaphones
Just wanted to post an update to this thread.
These horns have NOT been found. The school has purchased new Conn 40K sousaphones (thanks to the districts insurance policy).
Thanks for keeping your eyes open!!!

I am not accusing anyone either, but I have seen this same ad posted in various locations:Sparkergolf wrote:Just wanted to post an update to this thread.

Unfortunately this ad is not related, unless someone took the time to do A LOT of work in restoring that sousaphone and had it satin finished.
It does look rather suspicious though, I admit.
