I completely understand the sentiment. My 63 Gibson ES335 was my dad's. He was a monster guitar player, very skilled on any stringed instrument, actually. When he passed in 2006 it became mine, and I'm in a quandry as to what to do with it still. I play some guitar, but no where near what this axe is deserving of; yet I hate to see this beauty of an instrument in the hands of someone else. It's still at my house, not sure how to let 'er go.

My folks had a '58 210 when I was little that my Dad drove back and forth to law school before I came along. I understand.
