I repeat my questions, and hope that a moderator would care to answer this time. So here it is again:

Coming back from holidays, things have changed here. Rainbow colors, new moderator post info about being banned, new rules against political harassment (???) and a lot less postings, and lot of posts and members disappeared from existing threads. What on earth is going on here? Some moderator cares to explain? Please? This is very odd!

There were some users who had numerous posts and didn’t want to be members and/or have their posts scrubbed.

I, too, have been away from this site for a couple of months. I see threads listed with names I recognize as the last poster but when I open the thread, there are far fewer posts than the overview indicates and I do not see the names I expected.

I guess there has been a wholesale scrubbing operation?

What an odd turn of events. I understand that sites such as this one are privately held so the owners can do whatever they want to do.

Maybe I can decipher what exactly happened if I spend some time in the Internet Archive.
