I may have the opportunity to pick up a well-loved VMI 3+1 large bore euphonium. I have an older B&S/VMI tuba but I do not have any first hand knowledge with the euphonium.

Does anyone have experience with this horn? Would a used one make a good doubler for a tuba player?
