How 'bout a "How to post photos" sticky?

Post by WakinAZ »

Apologies if there already is one that I've missed. See my post with instructions here:
viewtopic.php?p=181618#181618

It would be nice to just put in the link whenever this comes up.

Isn't it more fun to make the newbies search all over for the information only to not be able to make sense of the rather arcane search function? Since the search tool has a fairly steep learning curve and it is relatively impossible for an untrained user to get a usable result we all get the chance to chastise the new person for not just searching the archives for the answer. If you are one of the first 5 or so responders, you get the pleasure and ego boost from doing the chastising. If you respond after, you can be the savior of the thread and gallantly ride to the rescue of the poor n00b. Then we get to deteriorate into pointless chatter and "me too" posts until someone posts the pictures banishing the topic to the "clipart" section.

Would you want us poor TubeNet addicted junkies to lose the only pleasure we have left in our socially bereft existences? For shame sir. We should not wreak such havoc upon the very fiber of TN and spoil the fun for the TNFJ and the MAMTNJ members and their many followers (-. --- / --- ..-. ..-. . -. ... . / .. -. - . -. -.. . -.. / - --- / . .. - .... . .-. / --- ..-. / - .... . / .--. .-. . -.-. . -.. .. -. --. / --. .-. --- ..- .--. ...)

I say NO to the ruination of our fun. NO to the use of stickies to answer Frequently Asked Questions. NO to helping the newbies. I had to learn all of these things myself and bear the lashes of sharp TubeNet tongues and I turned out all right, just look at me now. :tuba:

Oh you silly girls. I guess when Sean gets back from having a life over this holiday weekend, we'll see what he thinks.

BTW I know what the TNFJ is, but what is MAMTNJ?

Hey, I learned how to post pictures without anyone telling me...

I think...

For one of the forums on which I post regularly, I posted several pictures of the history of McDonald's in San Bernardino, California. No one asked me about the pictures or where I got them... The biggest question was...

"How'd he do that?"

To tell the truth, I'm not sure. It is a good title though.

Instead of talking to your plants, if you yelled at them would they still grow, but only to be troubled and insecure?
