I have not noticed any change in performance. There would be some late at night when I backup the site, but otherwise things are basically unchanged.
If the animated gif banner ads from TubeNet Sponsors are taxing your computers power than it might be time for an upgrade. Animated gifs are all over the place on the internet including this one.
there does seem to be some problems - I cannot edit my posts (I am logged in) and some images are broken. The little notes that show number of posts won't show for anybody except sponsors. I am using Mac OS Safari 4.0.1 and everything was working fine up until today. BBcode stuff is ON, but some Icons are not loading.
