
If on the other hand you don't have a place to host your own images, you may have been using the attachment option for exactly that.
"It's easy when you know how" - which is the often the computer interface definition of "difficult", but anyway - I select the image from page of images, so it's displayed by itself at its normal resolution. Then I use my browser's "Copy Image Address" option (which in my case is, position the mouse cursor over the image, depress the <control> button, select that option from the menu.*) That's the link to the photo, in two fairly obvious steps.
