I agree. Shoot me an email or instant message through TubeNet to bring it to my attention. I have not been reading much TubeNet latelly so am probably missing a lot of crap which needs to be cleaned up.

Most of the crap comes from the very very new people or the very very longstanding people. Either way it distracts from the mission of this website.

I agree with most of the sentiments here, but realize that the post that caused the concern was not done by anyone on this site. It is however a risk when you post a photo from another site.

A word to the wise is that posting a photo hosted by someone else always involves the risk that the host may change it to something else, causing some potential for embarrassment.

Sean, I did shoot an email to you long before I posted my message.
What I had to say was not political, it was a request that we should be able to at least keep pornographic images off the list as members, not all images that some might not agree with, thats ridiculous, we agree in that respect. This is sean's baby, and he can do what he wants with it. I posted this in a feedback forum as a request. Im not so naive that I dont believe that this stuff is all over the internet and in my email every morning, thats different, but I dont really log onto a tuba and euphonium forum expecting to see some guys C*ck, or some women in a wet T-shirt, thats all I meant. Im not forcing my opinion on anyone, they take it for what its worth.

Like I said, I agree with you. Perhaps your mail ended up in my spam folder. Maybe a TubeNet instant message might be better. Be sure to include the URL to the post in question also.

Perhaps this is a useless suggestion (or perhaps not), but it might not be a bad idea to state exactly what is the mission of your website.

It is certainly a useful resource for euphonium and tuba players (be they amateur, student, teacher, or professional), promotes a certain sense of community amongst players of like intruments (be they silver or lacquer...) regardles of geographic location, and provides a forum for all to communicate about topics of interest.

If something falls outside the perameters of what you envision, then it is clear that such posts are subject to your 'editorial' discretion.

Merely a thought.
